Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Tokyo; President: Mr. Atsuhiro Wakumoto) received MSCI ESG Ratings of AA for the second year, in 2025.
MSCI ESG Ratings is regarded as the global index for ESG investments. MSCI investigates and analyzes how appropriately corporations manage risks and opportunities related to the environment, society and governance (ESG) and rates companies on a seven-point scale from the highest, AAA, to the lowest, CCC.

Nippon Kayaku is currently selected for inclusion in the ESG investment indices used by Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF): MSCI Nihonkabu ESG Select Leaders Index, FTSE Blossom Japan Index, FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index, S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index, and Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index.
