Nippon Kayaku has displayed the Yasusaburo Hara (3rd president) Ukiyo-e Collection three times since the first exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the company (1996).
In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of our company, we plan to hold an exhibition, mainly consisting of Hiroshige Utagawa’s Meisho Edo Hyakkei (One hundred famous places in Edo) and Rokuju-yo Shu Meisho Zue (Illustrations of sixty-plus famous places). The exhibition will be held in five locations in Japan. Many of the woodblock prints are first prints and are in good condition. Viewers are likely to be very pleased.
