PARASAFE® injects and deploys the emergency parachute in the event of a drone fall in an unforeseen situation, and slowly and safely lowers the drone to reduce damage in the event of a crash. PARASAFE® was installed on the first unmanned aerial vehicle certified as a model in Japan.
The use of drones is spreading throughout the world in industrial fields such as inspection, surveying, and logistics. Legislation is also under way to expand the scope of use in manned areas and out-of-sight flights.
We have contributed to NASA's Mars exploration-project for more than 25 years by providing X-ray sources with low-power consumption and excellent functionality in harsh environments.
Carbon fiber composites are also used in the aircraft to reduce the environmental impact, such as by improving fuel efficiency through weight reduction. We develop and provide thermosetting resins such as epoxy resins which excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance and flame retardancy suitable for them.
We manufacture black powder (such as black small-grain fireworks) and pyrotechnics for fireworks (such as electric conduit wire and cords). These are used for fireworks which is the entertainment attracting children and adults alike.
We aim to develop safety devices for flying cars. For example, we are testing large parachutes to control landing posture and slow down. We will work with airframe manufacturers to promote technological development that contributes to the safety of flying cars.
