By establishing a section in charge of compliance, the Nippon Kayaku Group works to ensure respect and adherence to compliance standards through seamless execution of the Compliance Action Plan approved annually by the Ethics Committee.

October of each year is designated Compliance Promotion Month, to raise awareness of compliance issues throughout the company.
- Issue a message from the chair of the Ethics Committee to employees
- Conduct an employee survey on compliance issues
- Promote self-education and training on compliance issues
- 2. Each division drafts a Compliance Activity Action Plan and conducts compliance promotion activities independently according to this plan
- 3. Continuous education and training for all members of management and employees
- 4. Periodic publication of "Compliance News"
- 5. "Job and Workplace Compliance Q&A" is utilized in training sessions
- 6. Ensure all employees know about the compliance hotline for reporting or discussing compliance issue
