The achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” is our original dye-type polarizer having excellent durability.
Typical iodine-type polarizer has had problems, with color reproducibility in which a white (black) display assumes a greenish-yellow (bluish) color.
In order to solve problems, we succeeded in realizing color further similar to natural by making transmittance of each wavelength constant in parallel position and crossed position.
Since the achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” has excellent light resistance and high color reproducibility, it is effective for reflection type display having low power consumption that are easy to see under sunlight.
The achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” is recommended to be developed for outdoor uses such as digital signage, construction work marking, industrial meter and display for disaster warning.

Commonly used iodine-type polarizers are yellowish-greenish appearance of the background. The achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” can realize high quality color representation and it is not affected by sunlight or external light.

Real black and pure white are realized by flat transmittance of both parallel and crossed position.
The achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” is very durable under any environment and excellent in visibility under sunlight, and realizing clear image quality for outside LCD applications. It is able to realize clear display for outdoor use.

The achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” had no change before and after the test, however, the iodine-type polarizer was discolored and deteriorated. Therefore, it can be said that the achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” has high durability.
If the conventional iodine-type polarizer is continuously irradiated with direct sunlight, it will deteriorate and then "Blackout" phenomenon will occur on the display.
The achromatic polarizer “MUSAISYOKU™” does not deteriorate, it does not get "Blackout" phenomenon.
